Anchorage Para Sport Volunteers
Community & Field Sports
Volunteers work directly with Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists (CTRS) to assist athletes with physical and visual disabilities during practices, trips, and tournaments.

Training Provided
No prior adaptive sports experience is required. Challenge Alaska provides all necessary safety orientation, guide training, and equipment certifications.
Our next training sessions will run prior to the winter and summer seasonal program launches.
Girdwood Ski & Ride School Volunteers

Our Girdwood Adaptive Ski & Ride School runs from December to April at Alyeska Resort. Volunteers support lessons and assist with adaptive ski rigs. Positions include:
