Adaptive Ski & Ride School
Regardless of your abilities or experience, the trained staff and instructors at Challenge Alaska will set you up for success. We are located right at the base of Alyeska Resort with ski-in/ski-out access.
Slide on the Snow this Winter
We are comfortable and familiar working with individuals with all types of physical, cognitive, developmental, visual, hearing, and co-occurring disabilities.
For those living with spinal cord injuries, amputations, cerebral palsy, mobility, or balance issues, we utilize specialized equipment like sit-down mono and bi-skis, handheld outriggers, snow sliders, ski tip connectors, and tethers to ensure a safe, exhilarating experience.
For individuals living with developmental and learning delays (including Autism, Down Syndrome, FASD, and ADHD), we adapt our teaching techniques to best suit individual learning styles. Deaf and visually impaired students receive customized instruction specifically tailored to their communication needs.
