Raven Programs
Challenge Alaska's Raven Program offers structured recreation and adaptive sports for youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We focus on building confidence, independence, and lifelong friendships.
Recreational Therapy & Independence
Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists (CTRS) design and adapt all Raven programs to support specific developmental goals.
Participation helps break down social and physical barriers, promoting confidence, security, physical mobility, and improved mental health. We adapt teaching techniques to align with the unique learning styles of each student.
Ultimately, these accomplishments serve as a foundation for social development, community involvement, employment skills, and the goal of personal independence.
