Warrior Programs
Challenge Alaska's Warrior Programs provide therapeutic recreation and sports for Veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces who have a disability. We foster camaraderie, teamwork, and community integration.
Program Requirements
VA Disability Eligibility
In order to participate in our dedicated Warrior Program events, Veterans must meet one of the following criteria:
- Possess a documented VA disability rating.
- Have a 'pending' rating status under active VA review.
- Live with a service-connected disability that would qualify for a VA rating.
Note: Veterans with a disability are always welcome to participate in all standard ParaSport Alaska programs as well, but Warrior-specific programs are exclusively reserved for U.S. Veterans.
